Site evaluation for Stormwater Infiltration is done for clients seeking to obtain information on areas of the development site that might be considered suitable for an infiltration basin.  To design an infiltration basin or bioretention device, the DNR Conservation Practice Standard 1002, Site Evaluation for Stormwater Infiltration must be used in order to ensure that the design of the infiltration basins and bioretention devices are capable of meeting the State of Wisconsin stormwater infiltration performance standards contained in ss. NR 151.12(5)(c) and NR 151.24(5), Wis. Adm. Code.
