Site
evaluation for Stormwater Infiltration is done for clients seeking to obtain
information on areas of the development site that might be considered suitable
for an infiltration basin. To design an infiltration basin or bioretention
device, the DNR Conservation Practice Standard 1002, Site Evaluation for
Stormwater Infiltration must be used in order to ensure that the design of the
infiltration basins and bioretention devices are capable of meeting the State of
Wisconsin stormwater infiltration performance standards contained in ss. NR
151.12(5)(c) and NR 151.24(5), Wis. Adm. Code.
